At Silverado Hospice Dallas, hospice is not about giving up. It is about making the most of the time you have, in comfort and on your own terms. Our team focuses on the small things and the big things alike, from pain relief to the people and moments that give life meaning.
We serve patients and families across the Metroplex, and our care comes to you, whether that is a private home, an assisted living community or a nursing home. A nurse, an aide, a social worker, a chaplain and a volunteer all work as one team around each patient.
Silverado Hospice Dallas is recognized by the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services among the top hospice providers in the Dallas area.
Choosing hospice should not mean waiting and wondering. Two promises hold us to that:
A member of our leadership team reaches out within five days of admission to make sure your family has everything you need.
A physician sees the patient within seven days of admission.
Different illnesses call for different care. Our clinical teams are trained in the conditions families face most, so the plan fits the patient, not the other way around.
For advanced heart failure and end-stage cardiac disease. We manage symptoms like shortness of breath and fluid retention so patients can rest easier and stay comfortable at home.
For COPD, pulmonary fibrosis and other advanced lung conditions. Our team focuses on easing breathlessness and anxiety, with oxygen and medication managed around the clock.
For Alzheimer's, Parkinson's, ALS and related conditions. We draw on Silverado's decades in memory care to keep patients calm, dignified and surrounded by what they know.
For advanced and metastatic cancer. Our team focuses on pain and symptom relief, so patients stay comfortable and present with the people they love through every stage.
Silverado began when our nurses saw an unmet need: end-of-life care that addresses the whole person, in mind, body and spirit. That idea has guided everything we do since 2004.
We believe that understanding and honoring all aspects of a person, their needs, interests, beliefs and personality, is the only way to truly achieve the high level of care that families deserve.
Our clinical practices are second to none, with features such as a dedicated physician medical director and specialized teams experienced in specific diseases and conditions.
From our philosophy of personalizing care for each patient, to our hiring and training, there is only one goal: to make the last days of life as comfortable and dignified as possible.
